Waypoint notes from one Aviator globe
Version 2.0 is described on the card as a rebuild around a real globe. These are the place-words that survived that sentence. Checked 8 October 2026.
Airports the Aviator card will name only as real
"A real world map with real airports" is the whole geographic claim. No ICAO list, no city count, no statement that every field you can see is landable. A review still on the card, from December 2023, wishes there were more airports. I am not upgrading that wish into a measurement.
Day, night, and weather on this Aviator globe
The rebuild note and the body copy both mention day and night, weather, and clouds. Version 2.0.2 adds a sea-level fix and "correct local time on the globe." That is as specific as the What's New line gets. I do not have a weather model to summarise.
The cockpit the Aviator listing mentions
Hand flown, or with assists you can switch off. Cabin announcements, passengers, crew, and a full cockpit view are listed together. The stills show a runway, a hangar, a fighter cockpit, a coastal frame, and a snowy runway. They illustrate the card. They are not a manual.
Offline, as this Aviator card states it
The description says the app works offline. It also says the game is free to play with optional in-app purchases. Size is 2.3 GB, so the offline copy is not a small file. This waypoint never holds that file. The install remains on the App Store.
